Ref: Ray M. Scott, 76, 2902 Avenue H, Ft. Madison, died Friday morning, March 28, at the Henry County Health Center, Mt. Pleasant.

He was born March 22, 1910, at Cambridge to Luther and Emma (Bunning) Scott.

He married Willa McVey on Dec. 3, 1936, in Ft. Madison; she died in 1958. He then married Leta Gordy on June 24, 1967. in Ft. Madison.

He was employed at the DuPont Paint Co. for 26 years, and attended Grace Bible Church in Fort Madison.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, David Scott, Dallas, TX, and Allan Scott, at home; three daughters, Mrs. William (Sheryl) Eid, Ft. Madison, Mrs. Charles (Nancy) McGrath, Orange, TX, and Mrs. Kenneth (Lora) Merrill, Packwood, IA; 14 grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and one step-great grandchild.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at King - Lynk Funeral Home, Ft. Madison, with the Rev. David Scott, Mr. Scott's son officiating. Burial will be in Hill Crest Memorial Park, Ft. Madison.

A memorial has been established to the National Kidney Foundation. (Guy McVey, pg. 604)
