At approximately 8:30 pm the man went to Deputy Fee's home and shot him twice with a shotgun as the deputy stood on his porch. Deputy Fee identified the man as the shooter before succumbing to his wounds at approximately 2:00 am. Deputy Fee was survived by his wife and six children.
