Marylyn St. Germain, 78, of Watseka, passed away Monday (Oct. 14, 2013) at the Watseka Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Passages Hospice or to Strides for Breast Cancer.

Mrs. St. Germain was a homemaker. She was born Aug. 10, 1935, in Buckley, the daughter of Ernest and Louise Scherf Garrelts. Her husband, Charles "Chuck" St. Germain, whom she married Aug. 26, 1956, at St. John's Lutheran Church, passed away Sept. 20, 2010. She enjoyed gardening and doing crafts.

Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Melissa and Richard Espe, of Mattoon, and Darla and David Jepson, of Kankakee; grandchildren, Samantha, Hollie, Camelia, Darci, Kelly and Haley; great-grandchildren, Chloe, Lucas, Madeline and Natalie; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Eugene and Helen Bruens, of Watseka, Harlan and Maridee Bruens, and Henry Bruens, all of Bloomington, and Randy Bruens, of Sibley; one sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Carl Brazel, of Milford; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Darrin St. Germain; and one brother, Marlan Bruens.
