NESS CITY - Katherine Pfeifer, 84, died Oct. 26, 1996, at her home in Ness City. She was born June 28, 1912, at Garden City, the daughter of Alexander and Margaret Knoll Billinger.

A Ness County resident since 1932, she was a homemaker. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church and Christian Mothers at Ness City.

On Nov. 21, 1933, she married Joseph J. Pfeifer at Ness City. He survives.

Other survivors include: two daughters, Helen Siebenlist, Medford, Ore., and Lorinda Frank, Bazine; a sister, Mary Brown, Commerce City, Colo.; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Vigil Service will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Church, Ness City, with Father Marvin Reif presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today through Tuesday and until 9.30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
