Bessie Kline, age 84, of 412 Clinton St., Vernon died this morning at The Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Hagan was a homemaker.

Funeral services will be held at the Jennings-Lyons Chapel, Thursday at 1 p.m. The Reverend Williard A. King and the Reverend Meldon Crawford will officiate with burial in Greenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Hagan was born in Bennington on Sept. 22, 1898, the daughter of John N. and Lousia (Ruess) Kline. She attended Owosso schools. Mrs. Hagan had resided in the Owosso area most of her life and also in Hartland. She Married Warner A. Hagan in Owosso on Feb. 25, 1921; he died March 31, 1976. Mrs. Hagan was affiliated with the Vernon United Methodist Church and the Vernon Kings Daughters.

Survivors include 6 sons, Roger of Fenton, Charles of Phoenix, Az., Howard of Lindon, Herbert of Owosso, Lyle of Flint and Keith of Fenton; 3 daughters, Mrs. Orvan (Louise) Goward of Vernon, Mrs. Frederick (Beatrice) Brewer of Flint and Mrs. David (Katherine) Miller of Owosso; 29 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
