MINERAL RIDGE – William K. Lasher, 73, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2013, at his residence. Born May 31, 1940, in Kittanning, Pa., he was the son of Timothy and Wilda (Bailey) Lasher. William married Lenore Juanita Hansen on Dec. 4, 1959, and together they had two wonderful children. William was self-employed and owner/operator of the B.J. & Son Glass Glazing. He was a member of the VFW in Mineral Ridge and enjoyed fishing and wood work. His favorite past time was socializing with friends at the local Ice House Inn. Survivors include his children, Leslie Dawn (Michael) Ladd of Nokomis, Fla. and William LeRoy (Jeannette) Lasher of Mineral Ridge; four grandchildren; three step grandchildren; and two step great-grandchildren. William was preceded in death by his parents and his wife. A celebration of William's life will be held Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013, at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Mineral Ridge Chapel from 5 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Association at 3695 Boardman-Canfield Suite 301, Canfield, OH 44406 in memory of the Lasher Family.
