Allen G. Hauk, a veteran of the Civil, and a well known resident of this city, died at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of his sister-in-law, Mrs. Gottlieb Kohler, 42 South Sixth street, of a complication of ailments, aged 72 years.
Deceased is survived by his wife, who is ill at the Easton Hospital, and a son, residing in this city.
For a number of years Mr. Hauk was employed as a moulder at the plant of the Warren Foundry & Machine Company, Phillipsburg.
He was a member of the Union Veteran Legion and the Improved Order of Red Men.
