Ralph Edward "Ed" Lamb, 81, of Bement passed away at 3:35 p.m. on July 31, 2013.
He was born on July 8, 1932 in Bement, the son of Edward Ralph and Marceline Durbin Lamb. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Norma Hartrick; infant brother, Clyde; two great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Noah and numerous nieces and nephews. He married Janet M. McCollum on Oct. 28, 1955 in Bement. She survives.
He is also survived by his children, Valeri Ruth (Tim) Williams, Timothy Edward Lamb, Andrew Howard (Nancy) Lamb and Marcena Kathryn (Jeampy) Lamb-Ketol; grandchildren, Ramey Williams, Jessica Culp, Adam Culp, Melanie Brine, Ashley (Matt) Koehler, Alex Lamb, Rachel Lamb, Nate Parker, Madison Parker, Bokoolaka Keto, Jency Keto and Ky Keto; great- grandchildren, Noah Williams, Levi Williams, Ricki Garrett, Skylar Garrett, Ruby Culp, Marley Olson, Silas Olson, Brecken Koehler, Hayden Parker, Owen Ferns and Nathan Ferns and sisters, Doris (Howard) Lindstrom, Lelia Ward, Marian Fisher and Myrna Beals.
He graduated from Bement High School in 1950. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He farmed and was a mechanic for over 40 years.
