Born Gabriella Kieliszewski (other sources state year of birth as 1929 or 1931), in the Northern suburbs of Detroit, she was discovered by Hollywood scouts and cast as a slave girl in Cecil B. DeMille's epic "The Ten Commandments" (1956). What followed was a lengthy and abundant period in American television as she had credits on such series as "M Squad," "The Fugitive" and multiple appearances in the classic program "The Twilight Zone" among many others. During the 1970s, she made a name for herself as a producer of soap operas beginning with "The Edge of Night" and had a long association with the series "The Bold and the Beautiful."
