Leo Vaughn Jolley, 63, died Friday, Aug 9 1985, at his home in Provo of cardiac arrest.
He was born July 22, 1922 in Elberta to William Thomas Jolley and Eva Bernice Evans.
He married Betty Duncan December 10 1953 in Las Vegas, Nev. They were later divorced.
He received his education in Provo City schools. He entered the army prior to the beginning of World War II. During that war he served over seas in the European theater of the war and was later stationed in Alaska. He also served during the Korean conflict. Following his release from the army he made his home in Salt Lake City. He lived in Provo for the past 18 years.
He was a member iof The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was also a member of the VFW #6169, Mt. loafer Post, Payson
He is survived by two sons and five daughters. Leo Jolley, John Hoggan, Rosalee Jolley. Joyce Crockelt, all of Salt Lake City; Karen Halterman, Kriste Street, both of West Valley. RaNee Fleming, South Jordon; 18 grandchildren, mother Eva B Thurman, Orem, Utah, three brothers; John W. Brooks, Portland, Ore.; David D. Brooks, Orem, Utah; Bill L Jolley.
Graveside services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery, 100 E 400 N. Pleasant Grove. Friends may call at Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 E Center, Tuesday, 11 a.m. to noon.
Full military rites will be accorded by the VFW #4.
