He is best remembered for writing, directing and staring in the classic film, "Beyond Bengal" (1934). His other movie credits included "The War Extra" (1914), "The Jungle Hero" (1916), "Fares Please!" (1921), "The Dixie Handicap" (1924) and "The Great Divide" (1925). He died at age 67 in Los Angeles, California.
