ESTELLA BLADES DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS

Estella B. Blades, 83, 1000 Wheeling, widow of Chester L. Blades, died Wednesday evening at Woodland Nursing home following an extended illness. She was born in Illinios and moved to Fairmount area as a young lady with her parents, John and Eldora Marley Cranfill. She attended Fairmount Academy.

Mrs. Blades moved to Muncie with her husband about 1945 and has lived here since that time. She attended Riverside United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her son L. Eugene Blades, Munice; a sister, Mrs. Worth David, Dunedin, Fla.; a step-daughter, Mrs. George (Fanchon) Schounce, Munice; a step-grandson, William Davis, Albany; six step-greatgrandchildren and several nieces and nephews, including John W. Harrold, Cincinnati.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Meeks Mortuary with emtombment in Elm Ridge Mausoleum. Friends may call from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday and before services Saturday.
