RITES TO BE TUESDAY
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Meeks Mortuary for Chester L. Blades 68, 1000 Wheeling Ave., who died Saturday afternoon at Ball Hospital after an extended illness. Entombment will be in Elm Ridge Mausoleum.
Mr. Blades moved to Munice in 1944 from Summitville where he was born. Before he became associated with the Farm and City Homes, Inc., he was a farmer. He was was a member of Delaware County Farm Bureau.
Surving Mr. Blades are his wife Estella; a son, L. Eugene Blades, Munice; a sister, Mrs. Mattie Savage, Mateo, Fla.; and two brothers, Claude of Anderson and Garland of Elwood.
Friends may call at the mortuary after 4 p.m. Monday.
