He enlisted into the military Aug 11, 1862 in Goshen, N.Y. and was discharged Nov 17, 1862 in Washington D.C. with several disabilities.

He entered the home for Disabled Jan 25, 1908 and was discharged June 30, 1908. He returned there Oct 29, 1908 and passed away there in July.

At that time his pension was $12/Month and his total assets were sent to his daughter, Anne Quigley in Rice Lake, amounting to $89.20.

Civil War Soldier who served with Company C, 124th New York Infantry and enlisted with them as a Private on Aug 11, 1862 in Goshen, N.Y. and was discharged Nov 17, 1863 in Washington D.C. with several disabilities.

He entered the Milwaukee Soldier's Home for care on Jan 25, 1908 and was discharged June 30, 1908. He returned there Oct 29, 1908 and passed away there in July. Initially buried in Wood National Cemetery in Milwaukee in grave 17-284, his body was disinterred and moved to the Protestant Cemetery in Shell Lake, WI.

At that time his pension was $12/Month and his total assets were sent to his daughter, Anne Quigley in Rice Lake, amounting to $89.20.

His Veteran's headstone was ordered by the County Veterans Service Officer at Spooner on January 28th, 1937.
