Janis Elaine Moore Sabins, 60, of Morristown, Tenn., formerly of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2001, at her residence following an extended illness. Janis was employed by Barge, Waggoner, Sumner and Cannon of Morristown and attended Pleasant View Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Moore. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, James Sabins; daughter Jodi Sabins of Dayton; son Jeffrey and daughter-in-law Amy of Troy; granddaughter Sara Craft of Dayton; grandsons Dustin and Elijah of Troy; father Edwin Moore of Bradenton, Fla.; brothers Gary Moore and wife Linda of Vero Beach, Fla. and Bob Moore and wife Candy of Aiken, S.C.; sister Debbie and husband Tim Tucker of Monroe; and several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Baker-Hazel Funeral Home, 5555 Philadelphia Drive at North Main Street in Dayton. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Larry Parrott. Interment will follow services in Memorial Park Cemetery in Dayton.
