"A message received last night from Mr. Hiram Chenoweth announces the death of his mother, Mrs. Thomas J. Chenoweth at her home in Altendena, Cal., yesterday. Mrs. Chenoweth was 76 years of age and had spent most of her life in this city. She is survived by one son and her sister, Mrs. Lucille P. Robertson. She was a woman of great personality and charm, a life long member of the Episcopal Church. Services will be held at the home in California Wednesday."

"REMAINS WERE CREMATED.
The remains of Mrs. Thomas J. Chenoweth, who died at the home of her son in California last week, were cremated, and the ashes will arrive here some time during Wednesday or Thursday and will be buried beside her husband, Major Thomas J. Chenoweth, in the Maysville cemetery, after a brief service at the grave."
