Mrs. Nezzie Dare Wray McCauley, 91, of Albright Drive, died Saturday, February 12, 2005 at her residence.

Nezzie McCauley was born in Greensboro on June 6, 1913 to the late Henry Pleasant and Sallie Highfill Wray. She was retired from Mock-Judson-Voehringer and S. LaRose Inc. Mrs. McCauley was a member of Westover Church where she belonged to the Berean Sunday School Class and was a member of the Womens Fellowship Circle.

Mrs. McCauley is survived by sisters, Mrs. Peggy McClellan and Mrs. Joy Jarvis; and brother Mr. J.B. "Ham" Wray, all of Greensboro.

She was preceded in death by her husband Edward L. McCauley; sisters Martha Williamson, Sallie Wray and Emily VonCannon; brothers David Wray, Willie Bratcher Wray, Sidney Wray and Albert Wray.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening at Forbis & Dick North Elm Street. Mrs. McCauleys funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday in Westover Church with the Rev. Bob Vorhees and the Rev. Dana Wooten officiating. Interment will follow in Westminster Gardens.
