Leonard Hogg Dies at Telluride
Suffering a third stroke of paralysis at his home near Telluride several days ago, Leonard Hogg, father of Congressman Herschel M. Hogg, died at the family residence in Telluride yesterday morning. The deceased was 75 years of age. Upon receipt of the sad intelligence that his father had again been stricken with paralysis Congressman Hogg immediately boarded a train at Washington, where he was attending congress, and hastened to Telluride to be at the bedside of his aged parent. Congressman Hogg arrived there last Saturday night, but his father was unable to talk to him, having lapsed into unconsciousness, from which he never revived. The remains will be received in Pueblo tomorrow morning and removed to McCarthy’s parlors. The funeral will take place from there at 9:30 o’clock Thursday morning. Interment in the family lot at Roselawn.

Congressman H. M. Hogg arrived in Pueblo at 2:50 this morning with the remains of his father Leonard Hogg, who recently died in Leadville. The funeral will be held at McCarthy’s chapel at 9:30 o’clock this morning conducted by Rev. J. L. Weaver. Interment in the family lot in Roselawn.
