Anna Jane "Janie" Denmark-Hobbs was the daughter of John D. Denmark and Mary Brown. (See Death Certificate#878 Chatham County, Ga Jun 1936).

"Janie" married William Henry Hobbs the son of SaletyAnn (Lety Ann) Strickland-Hobbs (1840-1903) and William Robert Hobbs (1839-1897).

The Savannah 1910 Census shows Janie had two children and two are living. They were Anna L "Annie" Hobbs and James A. Hobbs. She had another son- John G Hobbs born in 1912.

With the names of Anna J Hobbs (Mother) and Anna L Hobbs (Daughter) it was confusing so Anna J used "Janie" and daughter Anna L used "Annie" .
