Diane was born to Leon and Mary Walker Grubbs in Grand Prairie, Dallas, Texas.
She married James J Roach, 20 April 1940 in Boulder City, Nevada. He and their daughter Donna (Steve) Kilcup survives.
Diane went into the Good Samaritan Hospital about the 1st of November and none of the tests help pinpoint the problem. Later Donna remembered she was bitten by a pet monkey they were caring for. This may have been the source of the fatal disease.
