DELTON ARLON ASHCRAFT, 84, Winfield, died on Friday, June 23, 1995, in the Marion Baptist Medical Center in Hamilton. He was born on January 5, 1911, in Winfield, the son of the late William Green Ashcraft and Eliza Gann Ashcraft. He lifed in Illinois from 1969 until 1976 and was a retired farmer and miner.
Funeral services were held on Monday, June 26, 1995, at 10 a.m. from the McGraw Memorial Chapel of Miles Funeral Home with burial in the Heritage Memorial Gardens. Curtis W. Posey was the officiating minister.
Survivors include two daughters - Geneva Palmer, Iron City, Tenn., and Opal Garrison, Huntsville; one son - Robert Arlon Ashcraft, Genesco, IL.; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter; sister - Nellerine Beasley, Fayette.
Miles Funeral Home of Winfield directed the services.
