Carol Cotton Frye, 56, 1409 S., F St., Elwood, died Monday evening at her home. Born May 29, 1933, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Dr. Perry Cotton and Evelyn Fisher Cotton. She was a former employee at Airfoil Textron, Corporation, in Elwood. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Elwood and United Auto Workers Local 1384. Surviving are three daughter, Mary Joanne Wilson of Colonial Beach, Va., Lydia Ramseyer of Rochester Hills, Mich., and Stella Smith of Portsmith, N.H.; six sisters, JoAnn Seright, Nancy Hill, Alice Knotts and Linda Speer of Elwood, Marilyn Etchison of Tipton and Joyce Ruby of Carmichael, Calif; an adopted brother, Paul A. Cotton Kangai of Elwood; and four grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Copher and Fesler Funeral Home, 415 S. Anderson St, Elwood, with the Rev. Ed Finley officiating. Burial will be in the Elwood City Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
