WESLEY W. CLEM, 70, of Hillrose, died Thursday, August 22, 2013 at his home.

He was born September 1, 1942 in Belle Fourche, SD to Charles & Loretta (Waite) Clem. He served in the Navy then worked as an electrician for the majority of his life.

Wesley married Janice Rauth in Crook, CO on March 25, 1966. They have lived in the Washington County area since 1976.

Wesley attended the Cowboy Church in Brush. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Brush, American Legion Post 19, Fort Morgan, and the Elks Lodge #1143, Fort Morgan. He enjoyed being active in the Fort Morgan Museum, helping with the veterans display there. He also enjoyed reading and farming. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Janice Clem of Hillrose; his daughter, Gina Dardanes and her husband, Greg of Brush; his sons, Bill Clem and his wife, Jennifer of Thornton, CO, and Samuel Clem of Malta, NY; his five grandchildren, Alex Clem and Will Clem, Erica Dardanes, Darrian Dardanes, and Nick Dardanes; his brother, Leroy Clem and his wife, Larayne of Saint Paul, MN; and his sister, Charlene Atteberry and her husband, Keith of Palmer,AK.

Wesley was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Kay Babb.

Visitation will be from 5 – 7 PM on Monday, August 26th at the Heer Mortuary, 222 Cameron Street in Brush.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, August 27th at 10:30 AM at the Wildwood Bible Church, 411 Lee Street in Merino. Interment will follow in the Brush Memorial Cemetery.
