Death: Jun. 10, 1876

Civil War Union Brevet Brigadier General. He served during the Civil War as an officer in the 29th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, rising from Captain of Company E to Colonel and commander of the regiment. He was brevetted Brigadier General, US Volunteers on March 13, 1865 for "bravery and efficiency as an officer". (bio by: Russ Dodge)
