She was a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julian S. Suggs Jr.; a sister, and a brother.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Julian S. Suggs III, and Frances Suggs of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Robert W. Suggs and Linda Suggs of Hickory; a sister, Lucile Weed Witt of Americus, GA.; four grandsons, David J. Suggs of Franklin, Tenn., Richard W. Suggs of Bowling Green, KY, and Lee Suggs and Mark Suggs of Hickory; a granddaughter, Jeanne S. Harvey of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her granchildren. The family will be at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Memorial may be made to one's favorite charity.
