He was widely known throughout this section having lived h Brillion 27 years. Mr. Schroeder was born in Germany in 1858 and came to America when he was three years old. In 1886 he was married to Ida Schwabe in the town of Rantoul. After their marriage they moved to Brillion and for the last 27 years have made their home in Wausaukee.
Funeral services were held Sunday at Wausaukee and the body was then taken to Brillion where interment services took place at, 11'clock Monday morning. The Rev. A. H. Nickell officiated.
Survivors are his widow, two sons, Herman of Hermansville, Mich.; and Carl of Wausaukee, and three daughters, Mrs. Ida Dahlburt, Green Bay, Mrs. Martha Cacinah, Chicago and Mrs. Rosa Yahr of Milwaukee and one brother, Albert Schroeder, Washington.
