William H. Throckmorton, a well-known farmer and stock raiser, died at his home, near Harveys, Saturday, November 26, aged 73 years, of a complication of diseases. He had been in failing health for more than seven years, but his condition had not been serious until a few weeks ago. Mr. Throckmorton was a son of Mr. and Mrs. James Throckmorton, deceased. For many years he had been a member of the Hopewell M. E. church and was a most highly respected citizen. He was united in marriage with Miss Lucy McGlumphy, who with the following children survives: Mrs. Mamie Bonham and Robert Throckmorton, of Waynesburg; Mrs. Garfield Hartzell, of near Hopewell, and Mantie, James and Victor Throckmorton, at home. He also leaves five sisters: Mrs. John Burroughs of near Washington; Mrs. Robert Dinsmore, of Video; Mrs. Elizabeth Frantz, of Hillsboro, Ill.; Miss Sadie Throckmorton, of Marengo, O., and Mrs. George C. Davis, of Birmingham, Ala.
