I. Early Wade, 85, of Mt. Morris, R.D. 1, died at 6 p.m. Friday, January 21, 1977 at the residence of his sister, Mrs. Willis Blaker, with whom he made his home. He had been seriously ill for the past few weeks.

Mr. Wade was born August 23, 1891 in Wayne Township, near Brock, a son of the late Francis M. and Elizabeth Fox Wade. His wife, Nelle Conklin Wade, died August 29, 1964.

He had spent all of his life in the Brock, Spraggs and Mt. Morris communities. He was a member of the Valley Chapel United Methodist Church and served as a trustee and treasurer for more than 30 years.

Mr. Wade was a farmer and stock raiser and for several years was employed by the Pennsylvania State Department of Highways.. For over 30 years he was an assessor in Perry Township.

Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Artie Renner, Mrs. Virgie Wade Nine and Mrs. Willis (Mildred) Blaker, all of Mt. Morris R.D. 1 and a brother, Dewey Wade of Spraggs, R.D. 1.

A sister died in infancy.
