The beloved wife of Caesar for 62 years and his lifetime partner as they have known each other since the age of seven. LovIng mother of Laura and Michael.
Lorraine was very active with the community as she worked side-by-side with her husband, Caesar, as he represented the people of the Town of Islip and Town of Brookhaven in the Islip Town Council and then in the New York State Senate.
She will be remembered for her sense of humor, candidness and compassion for her beliefs.
She was a devoted daughter to the late Marie Ashrawy and the beloved sister to Edward Ashrawy, the late Rose Ashrawy and Sarah Hoffner. Dearest sister-in-law to Alberto Trunzo and the late John Trunzo. Survived and cherished by many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
Services held at the Michael J. Grant Funeral Homes, Brentwood, NY. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anne's R.C. Church. Interment at St. Charles Cemetery.
