Merwin C. Taylor
Private graveside services for Merwin C. Taylor, 75, of University Heights, will be at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow in Greenwood Memorial Park. Greenwood Mortuary is in charge. He died Friday at his residence. Mr. Taylor was born in Massachusetts and lived in the county 29 years. He had been a Rohr Industries truck driver for 24 years and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the American Legion Post, the Order of the Eastern Star and the Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Katherine; a stepson, Paul Boitel of Spring Valley; a stepdaughter, Katherine Smith of Jamul; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
