Miss Josephine Williams
Funeral services for Miss Josephine Clementine Williams, 86, who appeared in silent films under the name of Joy Winthrop, will be conducted Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Utter-McKinley Wilshire chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
She resided at 600 N St. Andrews Place and had lived in California 70 years. She appeared in films as a character actress. She leaves three nieces, Mrs. Beatrice Cooke, Mrs. Gertrude Fortune and Mrs. Adelbert Horrall, and a nephew, Ned Williams.
