Professional Football Player. For ten seasons (1964 to 1972 and 1975), he played at the tight end position in the American and National Football Leagues with the Houston Oilers, San Diego Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs. After attending Booker T. Washington High School in Arkansas, he played collegiate football at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluffs. Signed as a non-drafted player by Houston, he played in 121 career regular season games. During the course of his career, he achieved Pro-Bowl honors three-times (1965, 1967 and 1969) and First-Team All-Pro status in 1965 while becoming one of the most productive receivers of the American Football League. Frazier yielded career-highs in receptions with 57, reception yardage with 922 and reception touchdowns with 10 in 1967. After retiring as a player, he worked as a football coach and police officer for the Houston School District. Frazier suffered from a variety of health issues during his post football years which included severe back ailments and dementia. He was among the thousands of former professional football players involved in a law suit filed against the league regarding concussions and other bodily injuries which left lasting affects.
