Mr. Aldo Pietrantozzi, 87, of Greensboro, died Wednesday, July 21, 2004, at Evergreens Nursing Home, in Greensboro.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. today at Rose & Quesenberry Funeral Home in Beckley, W.Va. Burial will take place in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Cemetery, also in Beckley, W.Va.
Born in West Virginia on Sept. 7, 1916, to the late Augusto and Cecilia Pietrantozzi, Mr. Pietrantozzi had spent the last 21 years in Greensboro. He worked as a self employed contractor and was of the Catholic faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Claudine McMillian Pietrantozzi and a grandson, Ricky Pietrantozzi.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Donna Pietrantozzi; grandsons, Kevin Pietrantozzi and wife Jennifer and Tony Pietrantozzi and wife Tracey; great-grandchildren, Taylor and Grayson, all of Greensboro; also surviving are two sisters and one brother.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice at Greensboro 2500 Summit Ave. Greensboro, NC 27405.
Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel is assisting the family in coordinating arrangements in West Virginia.
