Funeral service for Jim Grissom, 73, of Falkville will be Tuesday, September 10, 2013, at 4 p.m. at Roundtop Community Church with Rev. Pearl Jenkins officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Mr. Grissom died Saturday, September 7, 2013. He was born October 12, 1939 in Cullman County to Oscar Whitley Grissom and Eliska Louise Richter Grissom. Mr. Grissom was a United States Air Force Veteran. He was the owner of Grissom Real Estate Agency. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Tucker Grissom; two sons, James Ronald Grissom (Liz) of Baltimore, Maryland and David Brian Grissom (Linda) of Hartselle; one daughter, Amy Grissom Luker (William) of Falkville; two brothers, George Grissom of Hamilton and David Grissom of Vinemont; one sister, Janette Putman of Cullman; four grandchildren, Josie Luker, Dillan Luker, Patrick Grissom and Ben Grissom.
Pallbearers will be members of the Masonic Lodge No. 396.
