The Whittier News (Whittier, California), 27 Jul 1933, page 12.

Nettie B. Stockham, a pioneer resident of Delta, Colorado, for 35 years, and an honored resident of Whittier for five years, passed away Friday, July 21, after a brief illness. She was born in the state of Ohio 69 years ago, and was united in marriage to Wilson B. Stockham, who preceded her in death two years ago this coming September.
Mr. and Mrs. Stockham were members of the First Methodist Episcopal Church in Delta for many years. They were prominent in the building of a fine, prosperous church and were interested in all church activities, often making sacrifices that the Lord's work might be well carried on.
Mrs. Stockham was of a very quiet disposition, always giving her home and family first consideration.
Funeral services were conducted at the White-Emerson chapel, Monday morning, July 24, by Dr. Ray Harker, who spoke fittingly on the useful life of a mother and her devotion to her family. Several of Mrs. Stockhams favorite hymns were played on the pipe-organ. A large number of friends from Delta and Whittier attended the services. Interment was in Rose Hills Memorial Park. The beautiful floral offerings showed the high regard in which Mrs. Stockham was held by her friends.
She is survived by one daughter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Ploger, and one granddaughter, Barbara
