Betty Jean Cochran, age 82, passed away after a brief illness on July 25, 2013. Betty was born May 12, 1931 in Durant, Oklahoma the daughter of Leonard and Dena Reese. Betty attended Caddo High School and after graduation moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where she began her career with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. Betty and her husband later moved to Oklahoma City where she retired after 36 ½ years of loyal and dedicated service to the telephone company. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister. She is survived by her husband, Richard Cochran and longtime family friend Lana Sue Bryant along with many other friends. Graveside service will be on_______________ at Rose Hill Burial Park, 6001 N. Grand Blvd. in Oklahoma City. Memorials may be made to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.
