Louis Edgar Needham, 89, a great man, was welcomed in heaven Monday, Sept. 16, 2013. Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Louis was born June 19, 1924, in Bokhoma, Okla., to Arthur and Mary Needham. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Inez Foster Needham; son, Robert Louis Needham; and two great-grandsons. Louis was a living legend in his own time. He was loved and adored by many. Survivors: Children, Judith Ellis and husband, Dale, Betty Seabolt, Bobby Needham and wife, Shirley, Rita Hemphill and husband, Michael, Mary Smith and husband, Jessie, Pam Dawson and husband, Tim, and Sammie Needham and wife, Lisa; 22 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
