Clayton C. Speck, 81, of Gustine, passed away Tuesday September 17, 2013, at the Veterans Hospital in Temple, Texas. Grave side services, under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home of Comanche, will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday September 18, 2013, at the Union Cemetery in Gustine. There will not be a family visitation.
Clayton was born December 9, 1931, in Jackson, Michigan, to John W. and Kathleen (Hagen) Speck. He served in the United States Navy and later sold insurance. He was married to the late Jewell Daily Speck.
Clayton is survived by daughters, Kathy Speck and Karen DeBolle, and son, Michael Speck; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jack Speck; sister, Mary Frances Pearson.
