MEMORIAL

Served in Civil War in 5th Battalion of Hilliard's Legion CSA.

Efforts to find a marked grave for Edward Martin Adair have not been successful. It is assumed that he is buried here where his wife, two children, two grandchildren, and one daughter-in-law are buried. If further research proves he is buried elsewhere, this record will be corrected.

Recent research has found that Edward Martin Adair was a seventeenth generation descendant of Robert FitzGerald de Adair of Limerick, Ireland - born about 1366 and died 1445.
