His band recorded songs like "At A Perfume Counter" in 1938, "Cruisin Down the River" in 1949, and "Sometimes I'm Happy" in 1940. The band played in movie shorts like "Melody Master: Blue Barron and His Orchestra" in 1949, "Paramount Headliner: Blue Barron and His Orchestra" in 1940, and "Blue Barron and His Orchestra" in 1952.
