DIED.
In Nevada, Decmeber 28th of Inflamatory Rheumatism, MR. ELIJAH GRIFFITH aged about 27 years.
The Deceased was until a few days preceeding his illness, actively engaged in his chosen profession of teaching, having charge of a very flourishing school at Johnson's Grove, a few miles east of this place. By his own energy, Mr. GRIFFITH, educated himself for his profession, graduating from the Normal Department of the State University and gradually winning his way from a third rate teacher to the conceded position of first teacher in the county.--
