Mabel Etta (nee Withrow) Orechia was
the daughter of James Fulton Withrow
and Sarah Elizabeth (nee Woodworth)
Withrow, and the Granddaughter of
Robert Alex and Sarah Jane (nee Fulton)
Withrow, and Stephen and Harriet
Woodworth.

In 1920, Mabel emigrated to the U.S.
with her parents, and also in 1920,
she Married George James Orechia,
in Essex County, Massachusetts.
Mabel and George had three sons,
James Raymond Orechia; Walter Morin
Orechia; and Arthur George Orechia.

On 15 May 1944, Mabel became a
"Gold Star Mother" when her son,
James Raymond Orechia, was Killed
In Action in Solenzara, Corsica,
Italy.

Mabel died on 11 June 1958
and was buried in Walnut Grove
Cemetery, in Danvers, Essex Co.
Massachusetts, in Section 'B',
Brook Path, single grave #182.

She was survived by her Husband,
George James Orechia, and her sons,
Walter M. and Arthur George Orechia,
and other relatives.
