The funeral of Thomas P. Cooney, aged 39 years, who died yesterday morning at City Hospital, will be at 8:15 o'clock, Tuesday morning, from the home, 10 Colton street, followed by a high mass of requiem at 9 o'clock in the Church of the Sacred Heart. Burial will be in St. John's cemetery. He was for 10 years a member of the Worcester fire department, serving most of that time with Hose 6. He was born in Worcester and always lived here. He was a member of the Firemen's Relief association, the Worcester Fire club and the Holy Name society of Sacred Heart parish. He leaves his wife, Anna C. (Fitzpatrick) Cooney; two sons, Thomas P. and John M. Cooney; four daughters, Cecelia M., Geraldine, Delores A. and Catherine R.; a sister, Mrs. Mary E. Gammell; five brothers, Ambrose G., Stuart M. and Aloysius B., of Worcester; Leo C., of Springfield, and Walter S., of California.
