Marie T. Strathmann, 81, of the St. Mary’s Home, Manitowoc, died Monday evening, March 18, 1991, at the Home.
Funeral services will be 9 a.m. Thursday, March 21, at St. Mary’s Home Chapel, Manitowoc. Presiding the Mass f Christian Burial will be Rev. Thomas Wojciechowski O.F.M. with burial to follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born May 2, 1909, in Manitowoc, Wi., daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Zych Strathmann. She was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School Class of 1927 and was employed with Mirro Aluminum Company for many years.
Survivors include two half sisters, Grace and Francis Blahnik of Manitowoc, Mrs. Ethel Walters of Manitowoc; two half brothers, Paul Srathman of Manitowoc, Joseph and Marlene Strathmann of Manitowoc; a sister-in-law, Jeanette Strathmann of Manitowoc; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Jocis and a brother, Charles Strathmann.
Friends may call on Thursday at the St. Mary’s Home Chapel from 8 a.m. until the time of services. The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, assisted the family with funeral arrangements.

Scholarship Fund Set Up at Class of ’29 Reunion
…Marie Strathman who has worked at Mirro Aluminum Co. for 35 years since her graduation received not only a class award but a special gift from her employer.
