Mr. Arthur J. Strupp, 76, of 507 E. Reed Avenue, Manitowoc, died Thursday morning, December 3, 1987 at his residence. Funeral services will be 9:30 am Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral home and 10 am at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Gerald Prusakowski O.F. M. with interment at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Strupp was born July 31, 1911 in the Town of Newton, Manitowoc County, son of the late Peter and Julianna Pautz Strupp. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School, graduating with the Class of 1929. He married the former Eleanor M. Hansen on December 1, 1934 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. After their marriage, the couple settled in Manitowoc. Mr. Strupp was former owner/operator of the Stephanie/Strupp Oil Company.
Survivors include his wife, Eleanor; a daughter and a son-in-law, Barbara and Larry Schweigl of Manitowoc; three grandsons, James, Tom and Scott and a granddaughter, Sherri and four great grandchildren also survive.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4 pm to 8 pm this Friday. Prayer service will be held at 7 pm this Friday evening led by Father Jerry.
