George E. Deerr, 82, 1705 Northfield, died Thursday in Parkview Nursing Center.
Born in Muncie, she attended local schools and was graduated from Central High School. She had worked as a telephone operator.
She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and Daughters of Isabella.
Surviving are a son, Richard, Muncie; a daughter, Mrs. George (Patricia) Crespi, Anaheim, Calif.; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Her husband, James M. Deerr, preceded her in death.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Entombment will be in Elm Ridge Mausoleum. Calling is 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. today at Meeks Mortuary, where rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m.
