She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Charles E. Koons, "Doc", and her sons, Charles E. Koons III and Robert M. Koons.
Millie was a beautician in Illinois with her own shop. After her marriage to Doc, she became a homemaker. Millie enjoyed playing Bingo, doing many crafts, including making porcelain dolls with her sister Hazel.
A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she will be dearly missed by her many family members, grandchildren and friends.
