Marhsall Ney McPhail was son of
A. D. McPhail and Artimisia Bryant.
Marshall Ney McPhail, 79 years old, died at his home in West Marshall at 12:30 Friday morning after being in feeble health for some time.
Mr. McPhail wa born just west of Marshall, near Nesbitt, October 25, 1950, and had lived all of his life in Marshall and Harrison County. For many years Mr. McPhail was a watchmaker and jeweler in Marshall.
Mr. McPhail was married to Miss Blanche Cooper at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in this city in December, 1883. Mrs. McPhail died several years ago.
Mr. McPhail is survivied by one daughter, Mrs. Charlie Smith of Texarkana, and a son, Ney McPhail, Jr., a sister, Mr. J. J. Burris and a brother, M. McPhail.
The funeral was held at five O'Clock Friday afternoon from the home of Mr. and Mrs. S. P. Jones on West Houston Avenue.
