Donald was the son of Stanley Eisenmenger and Nellie Miles. On 26 Nov 1959 he married Martha Lea Pape and they had six children: Donald, Jr.; Scott; Cheryl; Julie; Deborah and Michelle. Donald was a retired truck driver for Q-1 Trucking. Before that he had worked as a machinist and EMT and he had also been employed by Dixie Warehouse & Cartage. He was also an avid fisherman and a big fan of the University of Kentucky basketball team.
