Mom was born July 4th 1932 to Dr. And Mrs. Archie Humphrey in Detroit, Michigan. Having been born on the 4th of July with red hair she thought that the fireworks were for her. She was their only daughter with an older and younger brother. She grew up in Marshall Michigan and graduated from a boarding High School in Chicago. She went on to Albion College in Albion Michigan where she graduated with a teaching degree. She loved history and spent much of her time exploring that love. She married Jim Rupp on June 12, 1954 in Marshall Michigan. She had 2 daughters and 1 son. (Cyndi, Dave and Carolyn). Her child-rearing years were spent in the Midland Michigan area. She and dad moved to Texas in 1979. They lived in Houston, Temple, San Antonio, Austin, and The Woodlands. She is survived by her eldest daughter and son-in-law, Cyndi and Larry Alexander, son and daughter-in-law, Dave and Theresa Rupp, and youngest daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Rudi Jaehn. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and their spouses, Nathan and Christy Williams, Ben and Jane Rupp, Sara Alexander, Adam and Courtney Rupp, Katie and Justin Abshire, and Andrew and Ashley Rupp. She went to live with our Lord and Savior Jesus at 3:20 AM on January 4th. She passed away on her 1/2 year birthday with the majority of her family around her. Mom loved her Savior and told anyone that would listen about her faith in Christ.
